Yenzokuhle Funeral Services (Pty) Limited is a registered company with CIPC registration number 2021/157893/07 and authorised Financial Services Provider with reference No. 52438. The business provides specialist funeral event management services (FEMS). We are not a parlour and do not conduct burial services.

Yenzokuhle Funeral Services provides its clients an affordable funeral plan fashioned as an umbrella scheme. Participation is purely on a voluntary basis and services are broadly divided into 4(four) distinguished segments namely:

1. Affordable funeral plan which pays out cash lumpsum to nominated benefeciaries
2. Execution of living wils and safe storage of policies and other legal documents
3. Funeral Event Management (FEM)
4. Referral services for estate assistance

The scheme intends to provide funeral insurance on a voluntary basis which is marketed to the public.

The proceeds of the policy are provided as a cash lump sum and payable to client's chosen beneficiary.

It is a written document concluded by a mentally competent person in anticipation of a situation where they no longer have the legal capacity to make sound legal and medical decisions. They are valuable to medical personnel and family members who are faced with a difficult medical and end of life decisions of a patient.

It provides persons a perfect opportunity to put in writing their wishes on how their mortal remains are treated and other matters incidental to death. It is also a useful document to donate organs after death in terms of (sect. 62 of the National Health Act, No. 61 of 2003)

Your preference on how your mortal remains are treated need to be taken seriously and handled in accordance with your instructions. You will state in your living will your choice e.g burial, cremation or donated for medical science etc. Yenzokuhle will ensure that client's families are assisted right from the day of death to the end.

Hereunder is the list of service offering that families may choose to be assisted with in order to deliver a successful and seamless funeral and burial activities.

• Our consultants will assist the family with regards to the removal of the body to a place of safety (mortuary) either from home and/or where the person was declared dead.
• The family will be assisted with the preparation of all paper work needed to facilitate the smooth planning of the funeral and burial.
• We will assist the family in getting monies from various service providers whom the deceased was their client and thus ensuring that policy promises are delivered timeously.
• That the clients' choice and kind of a memorial services is held (prior or after), funeral and burial services are properly conducted as per the clients wishes.
• That the graveside services are done in accordance with the instructions of the client prior his/her death.

Usually, after the burial ceremony has been concluded, everyone who supported the family has gone back to their places and families are left alone. The reality of death and effects thereof starts hitting the families.

There are 2 single items that many families have to attend to immediately after the disposal of the mortal remains: i.e. counselling for members who are directly affected and dependent on the deceased. Secondly, dealing with the estate of the deceased including pension and insurance pay-outs.
